DAILY CLEANING: LESS IS MORE
Daily cleaning is key to preserving the beauty and condition of wooden furniture. To do this, it is important to avoid harsh products, strong degreasers or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish and alter the natural colour of the surface. Wood is a living material that responds best to gentle and consistent care.
For routine maintenance, simply wipe the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth, ensuring it is well wrung out. This will remove dust and surface dirt without compromising the wood’s protection.
If you want a deeper clean from time to time, you can prepare a natural mixture of vegetable oil with a few drops of vinegar or lemon juice. Apply it with a soft cloth, spreading the product evenly and following the grain of the wood. Once applied, leave it to dry and, if necessary, remove any excess with a clean cloth to avoid leaving any residue.

NOURISHING AND PROTECTING WOOD
Over time and with daily use, wood can lose some of its natural shine or show signs of dryness. This is completely normal, as it is a living material that reacts to the environment, light and temperature changes. Therefore, nourishing it periodically is essential to maintain its appearance and prolong its useful life.
To restore its warmth and protect its surface, it is advisable to apply specific natural oils for wood on a regular basis. These products help to moisturise the material, enhance the grain and create a light protective layer that prevents wear and tear caused by everyday use. Apply the oil with a soft cloth, always following the direction of the grain, and allow the wood to absorb it before removing any excess.
Regular and respectful care not only protects the wood, but also allows it to retain its natural beauty and age gracefully, keeping the character of the furniture intact over the years.
HOW TO REMOVE MARKS AND STAINS

Hot marks on glasses or cups are common, but there is a solution:
Gently rub the area with a natural cork, following the grain of the wood.
Do this carefully and without applying excessive pressure so as not to damage the finish.
PREVENTION: THE BEST MAINTENANCE
Beyond cleaning and nourishing wood, prevention plays a fundamental role in furniture conservation. Adopting small daily habits can make a big difference and prevent damage that is difficult to repair over time. Wood responds better when it is cared for consistently and consciously, protecting it from external factors that can accelerate its wear and tear.
- Use coasters and placemats to prevent heat or liquid stains.
- Avoid direct and prolonged exposure to sunlight, as this may alter the colour.
- Maintain adequate ventilation to prevent moisture build-up.
